The Liberty Elementary PTA is a non-profit organization led by family members, teachers, and staff who are dedicated to funding educational experiences for Liberty students, advocating for equality, and practicing inclusivity (most of our events are admission-free). Some of what we do for our students and community:

Cultural Arts assemblies, such as:

  • Reggae Music: Ras N’gosi Anbassa

  • Sean Fleming band

  • Jambo Productions world communities

  • Chiku Awali African Dance Company

  • Path to Rhythm

  • Zondaflex hip hop

  • Day in Clay

  • Colonial Man

  • Japanese Art & Culture

  • Prismatic Magic Laser Show

  • Day in Drumming: Adam Issadore

  • Bill Batson sketch artist

  • Music Technology with Brent Daniels

Events, such as:

  • Back to School Social

  • Multicultural Festival

  • Trunk or Treat

  • Family Game Night

  • Liberty Night Out

  • Liberty Talent Show

  • Jump-a-thon and Fun Run

  • Teacher Appreciation
    (fall and spring)

  • Holiday Shop

  • Mother’s Day Plant Sale

  • Science Fair support

  • Field Day support

  • Health Days support

LEAP (Liberty Enrichment After School Program):

classes taught by Liberty teachers and staff!

  • Spring and fall courses (art, slime, Zumba, etc.)

  • LEAP Learners (languages, coding, etc.)

  • LEAP Gymnastics

Liberty Garden: Expanded garden boxes allow *every* student at Liberty to be able to plant!

Playground Fund: Raise money for continued refurbishment (installed a new play structure in 2019). PTA also dedicates hundreds of dollars toward recess equipment purchase each year.

Scholastic Book Fair is in the fall and spring. We are dedicated to putting books in the hands of every student and books in the classroom of every teacher.

Field trip subsidies for all grades to help cover trip and transportation costs.
